Project: Contemporary Dwelling with a View

The vacant site had fantastic long range views to the southern coast and presented a great opportunity for a dwelling with high amenity. Landscape controls in the form of a Significant Landscape Overlay required a low profile building form in colours and finishes to blend in with the surrounds. Council’s initial response was conservative. However, through the provision of more information, additional landscaping and some minor changes to the building form a suitable position was negotiated with Council and a planning permit was issued.
