This disused factory site on a disproportionately long lot in the heart of Brunswick provided our client with a unique development opportunity. Clause:1 was engaged to provide advice and later prepare, lodge and manage a planning permit application for the development of 20 dwellings on the site.
After the initial application was lodged, extensive negotiations proved unable to overcome Council’s concerns. Clause:1 represented the applicant at VCAT after an appeal was lodged as a result of Council failing to determine the application within the statutory time frame. The VCAT appeal was successful and a permit was issued for the development of 20 dwellings, as proposed.
