This Commercial 1 Zone site is located close to the heart of the Prahran/Windsor/South Yarra Principal Activity Centre and only 50 metres from Chapel Street. The site provides substantial opportunities for redevelopment given the underlying zoning, tall surrounding built form and a Design and Development Overlay provided some guidance relating to the potential height of future form. Clause:1 was engaged to provide pre-purchase advice and manage the planning permit application. Unfortunately Council was unwilling to support the proposal. Clause:1 represented the permit applicant at appeal and was successful in having a permit issued for the proposal under the direction of VCAT.
