Project: Four unit townhouse development

This site is located in a desirable pocket of Yarraville, with frontage to Cruikshank Park. There was an opportunity to create a high quality townhouse development, with a number of ‘green’ features including vertical gardens. The site’s enviable interface with a public park created a unique challenge: safeguarding the occupants’ security and privacy, while optimising the outlook onto the greenspace. The result was a contemporary design response for four individually designed executive townhouses with spacious first floor balconies and functional outdoor space at ground floor.
Once again, diligence and collaboration at the inception of the project paved the way for a successful outcome, and Clause:1 assisted the clients and architect from initial concept drawing stage right through to the endorsement of Planning Permit drawings.
Clause:1 worked closely with Council to ensure a smooth journey through the statutory planning process, despite objections from neighbours to the application. This was rewarded with a planning permit containing no onerous conditions.
